En este templo se venera la imagen de Nuestro Señor de Burgos, tallada en el tronco y  ramas  de un sauce. El santuario actual con aires de fortaleza comenzó a edificarse en 1880. La obra se terminó en 1959.

This temple is consecrated to the image of Our Lord of Burgos, which is sculpted in the trunk and arms of a willow. The actual church, which airs of a fortress, started construction in 1880 and was finished in 1959.
